I also tried to stick the probes in the ground and red wire on the ends of the factory harness and no luck either. I tested the wires coming off the cd player datalink harness and I don't have power to either the constant 12 volt or red wire. I used a different multimeter, tested on my battery first and is showing 13.6 volts. Any got any ideas on how to get this working? Thank you! I can attach pictures if needed just let me know what you need to see I plugged my CD player in with my factory radio and tried to put a cd in and it wouldn’t take it so there’s a good possibly my credit player doesn’t work for some reason. I tried splicing into the wires coming off the idatalink kit coming off the radio harness, plugging in everything and no juice. The power being mainly supplied straight from the factory harness to the radio through the idatalink kit is coming off the harnesses for the car player. I also went and plugged my factory radio back in and it works just fine. I picked up a multi meter to test if I was getting power or not but it won’t read any volts for some reason so I’m going to get a new one. I’ve bought the maestro dash kit and maestro rr module, I flashed it and went to install it but I can’t find any great videos on wiring so I just wired the ground, constant 12 volt, and red auxiliary f wire from the radio harness to the corresponding wires on the idatalink kit, plugged everything in where it needs to go and no juice. I’m trying to get a pioneer dhm w4660nex installed in my 2016 f-150 with the non Sony 8 inch touch screen. r/electricvehicles - For electric vehicles r/diyaudio - Audio Projects & talk For the DIY'er r/soundsystem - PA's, Concert Rigs, Road Gear r/hometheater - For the HomeTheater lovers r/audiophile - Strictly High Fidelity discussion r/CarAVvendors - CarAV vendor info/deals r/CarAVclassifieds - CarAV's trading hub Please remember to restrict product promotion posts to 10% or less of your total combined self and link posts as per reddit spam guidelines.
